Step into My Art World
Welcome to Irina's Art Gallery
I paint the symphony of life with colors and reflect it in portraits.
To me, art represents the creation of a new world on canvas. With each brushstroke, I draw inspiration from various sources: nature, the cosmos, urban landscapes, animals, and the faces of people. Through the exploration of color, shades, and materials, I create works in the style of the Old Masters of the Renaissance, Impressionism and Romanticism. A significant focus of my artistry lies in portraiture. The Flemish Renaissance style, prominent in the 15th to 17th centuries, is characterized by its vibrant realism, detailed multilayered oil paintings and glazing with significant contributions from artists like Jan van Eyck and Peter Paul Rubens.

I utilize mixed media techniques, incorporating texture paste, acrylics, decorative elements, and sculptural painting. My semi-abstract landscapes serve as a bridge between the realms of reality and imagination. In these pieces, I strive to merge the clarity of realistic elements with the ethereal quality of abstraction, maintaining recognizable forms while offering the viewer freedom of interpretation.
To enhance expressiveness, I employ texture effects with paste and gold accents using gold leaf, which emphasize volume and texture, transforming the artwork into a striking focal point for any interior. I invite you to immerse yourself in this enchanting world of sensations and emotions, discovering a new dimension of beauty and inspiration alongside me.
When you purchase a piece from an artist, you are acquiring more than just a painting. You are investing in hundreds of hours filled with mistakes and experimentation, days, weeks, and months of frustration and exploration, and moments of pure joy. You are not merely acquiring a physical object; you are obtaining a fragment of someone's heart, soul, and life experiences. Most importantly, you are providing the artist with the time needed to pursue her passion.
When someone buys a painting, they truly make an artist friend. Because the painting stays with you every day. You pass by it sleepy in the morning, tired in the evening, in a good mood, anxious, in silence. And at some point, you become friends with it. And behind it, there's always the person who created it. Their mood. Their view of the world. Their silence that day. And then there's this very pleasant and beautiful feeling when you look at the painting . . . I generally think that buying art isn't really about interior design. It's about relationships. About the desire to be close to something living, real, created by a person, not a factory or an AI...
